Spring Outing to Mount Stewart House

Join us for the day and hear about the restoration of National Trust property, Mount Stewart House, and its collections.

You will have the chance to learn about the furniture conservation by local conservator Fergus Purdy, to see the Hague conservation space, and to hear about commissioning conservation by regional conservator and ICRI Board member Claire Magill.

Experience the showrooms and learn about the family with House & Collections Manager, Dr Neil Watt, and complete the day by exploring the magnificent gardens.

Lunch will be served in the Ed Shed at £10 pp for soup, sandwiches, tray bake and tea/coffee.

Entrance fees are: Adult £9.45 or £10.50with gift aid; Child £4.72 or £5.25 with gift aid; Family £23.62 or £26.25 with gift aid. National Trust members go free.

This event is open to all ICRI members, families and friends. Visitors to meet at the Ticket Office at 10:15 for a 10:30 start.

This will be followed by an exciting talk from guest speaker Maighread McParland, on the provenance and conservation of two copies of Raphael Cartoons. The meeting will conclude with a drinks reception and the opportunity to chat with fellow members.
