ICRI is pleased to offer a day long workshop in Business Skills for conservators on Friday July 22nd from 10AM – 5PM. This training is provided by Invisio and focusses on the practicalities of running a business as a sole trader or a small company. As many conservators working on the island of Ireland work in this capacity, the aim of this training is to provide participants with the information and skills needed to navigate the business side of their work as an early career conservator or to continue to grow an established practice. Individuals working in the heritage sector in Ireland would also find this workshop to be of benefit.

Topics covered will include

• Understanding Costs
• How to price and bid for business (including tendering)
• Accounts and Revenue (ROS)
• Forward looking financial management and work flow

This workshop will take place online.
